Camp Hope
This year, we are absolutely ecstatic to work with Camp HOPE! Camp HOPE is a free weekend camp where children are brought together to work through the grieving process after a loved one dies. Serving families from all over Wisconsin, the surrounding states and across the nation, their free weekend camps prioritize fun and the kids learn that it’s okay to laugh and play - and that doing so is not disrespectful to the memory of the person who passed. From the moment campers and their families arrive for a weekend filled with activities such as swimming, boating, and hiking, they are greeted with positive energy that carries throughout the weekend. Through the weekend of fun, sharing their pain and supporting each other, the children are shown that their emotions are a normal part of grief, that they are not alone, and that at Camp HOPE, their pain is understood.
